Watch the 2021 Mead Hooker Memorial Lecture by Jose Castillo and Saidee Springall

Jose Castillo and Saidee Springall delivered a lecture as part of their Marjorie Mead Hooker Memorial Visiting Professorship on April 12th, 2021. Castillo and Springall are principals of a|911, based in Mexico City. Their work includes cultural, institutional, housing, and mobility projects and urban design and planning. Among their built projects are the expansion of the Spanish Cultural Center in Mexico City, the transformation of the Sala Siqueiros in Mexico City, and the Monterrey Center for Higher Learning of Design. This semester, they are collaborating with professors Cesar Lopez and Jeffrey Nesbit in a series of coordinated graduate design studios at SA+P.
