Landscape architecture students take first place in NOMA Competition, "Between Space"

Congratulations LA 505 students and Katya Crawford, Assistant Professor, Landscape Architecture Program!

Landscape Architecture - LA 505 - student team Fang Ding, Carly Piccarello and Jennifer Sandoval took first place in the international NOMA Competition "Between Spaces" with their scheme titled "Power Up."

Set in New Orleans, the charge was to turn the neglected I-90 freeway underpass into a vibrant and flexible public space. Juror comments included, "Attractive lightscape", "elegant plan", "pure art installation."
