    Associate Professor Yu's Visual Portfolio

    Kristina H. Yu is Associate Professor at the University of New Mexico. She has been part of the SA+P faculty since 2007. At UNM, Yu pursues research and teaching opportunities in the areas of design, architecture and technology. She is principal with McCLAIN+YU Architecture & Design. Her work in the office and with academia centralizes the beauty of architecture technical details, construction, delivery mechanism as collaborative and innovative processes. She is committed to expanding the architectural discourse of technical design. Her research centralizes the technical implementation of renewable systems in complex building types for its most appropriate syntheses.  She has practiced design and architecture widely in Chicago, Boston, New York, Berlin, Frankfurt, Austin.
