SA+P Students Explore Opportunities at Annual Career Fair
April 3, 2024
On March 5, students at The University of New Mexico School of Architecture + Planning (SA+P) had the opportunity to practice their networking skills and connect with potential employers at the annual SA+P career fair, co-sponsored by AIA Albuquerque. This collaborative effort brought together SA+P students with established employers and proved to be a great success.
The fair featured an impressive lineup of firms and organizations, each showcasing unique opportunities for our talented students. Representatives from over 20 local, regional, and national employers participated, including MASS Design Group, Sandia National Labs, Pland Collaborative, Dekker Perich Sabatini, FBT Architects, and the City of Albuquerque.
Through the event, students were able to explore different aspects of the architecture, landscape architecture, and planning industries, all without ever leaving the SA+P building. Students who attended were able to build critical connections and imagine where their paths might lead after their time at UNM concludes.
We are grateful to all the participating organizations for their engagement, enthusiasm, and dedication to nurturing the next generation of professionals. Our students go on to shape the built environment of the state and region in myriad ways, and we look forward to witnessing the impact of these meetings in the years to come.
