Simon receives Distinguished Community Leadership Award

Alf Simon, associate dean in the UNM School of Architecture and Planning, was selected by New Mexico Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (NMASLA) members to receive the 2015 Distinguished Community Leadership Award.
The Distinguished Community Service Award is presented as part of the NMASLA 2015 Individual Awards Program. The award recognizes an individual who has provided sustained service to the community demonstrating sound principles or values of landscape architecture and contributes to the work currently shaping our environment.
The purpose of the NMASLA Individual Awards Program is to recognize excellence, exemplary performance, and significant contributions by the landscape architecture and related professionals within New Mexico.
