UNM MLA student Sofia Gavin was shortlisted for the Peja Culture Pavilion competition.
"Sofia’s project thought about nighttime use of the space for stargazing as well as how the fountain space might be inhabited with many different programs such as gardens, game space, relaxation space, etc., based on the cinema building across the river, making a cultural axis north/south that links events in the city."

LA+ (Interdisciplinary Journal of Landscape Architecture) 20 "Exotique" features UNM LA student work with two honorable mentions (Louise Bani Sarcer and Farzin Baik) and a jury's choice (Thea Swift).

On the Brinck Symposium: March 24, 2025 3-5 PM in Garcia Honda Auditorium. Authors Avigail Sachs, Noam Shoked, and Irene Cheng will discuss their award winning books of 2023. Students who attend will receive free books.
