SA+P faculty take home accolades in the 2017 NM-AZ Book Awards

UNM School of Architecture + Planning Faculty members, Baker Morrow and Mark Childs have both recieved accolades for thier recent publications at the 2017 NM-AZ Book Awards. The awards banquet was held at the Tanoan Country Club, and publications in 61 categories were honored.
Professor of Landscape Architecture, Baker Morrow, recieved the NM-AZ Book Award for his publication, Best Plants for New Mexico Gardens and Landscapes, published with UNM Press, in the "Gardening Book" category. This award was sponsored by Pul and Barbe Rhetts.
Professor of Architecture, and Associate Dean for Research, Mark Childs, recieved the NM-AZ Book Award for his publication The Zeon Files: Art and Design of Historic Route 66 Signs, co-authored with Ellen Babcock and published with UNM Press, in the "History Book, NM" category. This award was shared with Doña Teresa Confronts the Spanish Inquisition by Frances Levine, and was sponsored by Diane Layden.
