ARTS Lab Receives iDMAa Award

The Art, Research, Technology & Science Laboratory (ARTS Lab) at the University of New Mexico has recently been selected as the 2013 recipient of the International Digital Media Association Innovative Program Award from the International Digital Media & Arts Association (iDMAa). This award has only been bestowed upon four other programs since the beginning of iDMAa in 2004. ARTS Lab is a digital media laboratory that seeks to support innovation and growth in areas such as film, new media, simulation, game technology, education and scientific visualization. The lab strives to enable community building at the university and to be a leader in digital media in the state of New Mexico.Professor Tim Castillo, ARTS Lab Director, and David Beining, Associate Director of Immersive Media, will personally accept the award at iDMAa’s 11th annual national conference in Laguna Beach, California November 6th to 8th.
