HPR Summer Instructor Tony Atkin, FAIA, Featured in Architectural Record

Tony Atkin, FAIA, is an award-winning architect and preservationist; principal, Atkin Olshin Schade Architects, Philadelphia and Santa Fe. He is the co-editor of the book, Structure and Meaning in Human Settlements.
Atkin Olshin Schade was recognized by the Architectural Record for their work with the Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo in northern New Mexico. The multiphase preservation project has restored twenty traditional homes the village center, Owe’neh Bupingeh, with further revitalization in progress. AOS has worked closely with a group of tribal elders on their strategy to create cost-effective, comfortable homes that honor the tribe's cultural values. Read the full article.
