Congratulations LA 505 student Jennifer Sandoval and Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture Program, Katya Crawford!

Landscape Architecture masters student Jennifer Sandoval has been selected as a finalist to further develop her design titled “Lucky 13.”  The Downtown Albuquerque Public Art Ideas Design Competition is part of the “On the Map: Unfolding Albuquerque Art + Design” citywide exhibition from January to May 2015.  The competition called for a large-scale public artwork that is quintessentially “Albuquerque.”

Jennifer’s design responded with 13 multiple functioning art pieces calling for Solar Windows collecting 278 days of solar energy to power LED light installation.

The work will be on display at the Albuquerque Museum from January 31-April 15.
