Robert Loftis is a licensed Landscape Architect and LEED accredited professional. He has worked at MRWM Landscape Architects in Albuquerque since 2004, becoming an Associate in 2014. Rob has worked with communities across New Mexico to develop parks, trails, athletic facilities, schools, and transportation corridors with a focus on pedestrian safety and Main Street redevelopment projects. He is an active advocate for multi-modal transportation and complete streets legislation on the local, state, and federal levels. His local leadership on advocacy issues lead him to become the Trustee of the New Mexico Chapter of the ASLA in 2017 and the Chair of ASLA's Government Affairs Advisory Committee.
Rob enjoys mentoring students and brings 13 years of experience in project management and construction oversight to the classroom. He is inspired by New Mexico's varied landscape, deep cultural roots and fascinating history.
