  • MS in Historic Preservation, School of the Art Institute of Chicago
  • BA in Latin, Brown University

In addition to teaching courses in Historic Preservation and Industrial Design, I am also the Shop Supervisor of the School of Architecture and Planning's FabLab.  Prior to joining the School in 2016, I worked as a conservator at the Art Institute of Chicago, as a designer and builder with the spectacle theater group Opera-matic, and as a researcher for the City of Albuquerque's Public Art Program.  I am a hands-on maker and I am interested in how we experience time and human connection in the built environment.
