Should this date fall on a weekend, the Monday following becomes the receive-by deadline.
Application to the Bachelor of Arts in Architecture Program maybe made after completion of at least 26 credit hours, including the completion of pre-admission requirements as listed on previous panel. All students must be admitted to UNM prior to or concurrent with their application to the BAA Program. UNM application forms are available through Undergraduate Admissions. Architecture Program forms are available in the office of the Student Advisor, George Pearl Hall Room 120, located at 2401 Central Ave NE.
Unless otherwise indicated, all items listed below should be submitted in one application package:
- An application form.
- A portfolio of creative work. (Portfolio Guidelines are available in the above office - format is 8.5 X 11 inches).
- A letter of intent (one page).
- Transcripts. (All students must submit unofficial UNM transcripts with their application.
Transfer students must submit copies of their official transcripts; the original official transcripts must be submitted to:

Transfer Students must submit the following to the office of the Student Advisor, George Pearl Hall Room 120, located at 2401 Central Avenue NE:
- Course descriptions for Architectural Drawing, 2-Dimensional Design, 3-Dimensional Design, and Introduction to Architecture taken at institutions other than UNM.
- Transfer course evaluation form. (This form is available online through ITEL).
